  Balkan Express is a piece about an imaginary train journey through the musical canyons of the Balkans.
  The composition consists of three layers: instrumental, electronic and performative layer. The instrumental part is based on traditional music, motifs and ornaments from different parts of Yugoslavia.
  The electronic sounds consist mainly of feedback frequencies, which musicians create using shot glasses, bottles and one microphone.
  The electronic the link between the instrumental and performative parts.
  The performative elements are inspired from traditional Yugoslavian customs. For example, the musicians come on stage hand-holding like in "kolo" . By moving their hands, they influence an audio via sensor;
  transforms the melody into a train-like sound.
  The "Balkan train" becomes faster and louder during the piece. The small bistro table starts to shake... it is prepared with a loudspeaker.
