Music and Community with National Resonance

Facciamo la Corte! is a festival in the Ticino village of Muzzano. What began as a family garden party in 2014 has grown into an important meeting place for Switzerland’s underground music scene.
Founded by friends Simone Bernardoni, Damiano Merzari and Paride Bernasconi, the festival connects the community of the village near Lugano with musicians and artists from all over Switzerland, The result is a surprising program of independent Swiss music creation. The 2024 edition featured such diverse acts as Film 2 and Odd Beholder performing in the gardens and squares of Muzzano.
Facciamo la Corte! takes into account the circumstances of Muzzano and the local population and thereby strengthens the village community. More than just a music festival, this end-of-summer event maintains its original noncommercial spirit as an accessible village celebration of togetherness and shared experience. Facciamo la Corte! fosters important cultural exchanges between Switzerland’s regions, urban and rural areas, and everyone participating.
