Die Intensität des „Lichts“, welche sich aus einem Ton, einer Tongruppe oder einem Akkord entwickelt, variiert je nach Instrumentation. Die jeweils identische musikalische Struktur kann durch verschiedene Klangfarben eine sehr unterschiedliche Dramaturgie entwickeln.
Das Klangfarbenspiel ist deshalb das entscheidende Element für die zeitlich-räumliche Entwicklung von LUMIÈRES.
