SINGULARISATION: Don Boscos Garden III

Exploring Mahler's 4th Symphony in the chamber music version. On this performance evening, the musicians dissect the symphony and let the resulting fragments be heard from different corners of the house. In the sound installations, the focus is on individual instruments. The audience moves freely between all the locations until a new collage emerges from the fragmented material in the concert hall. The fact that in the project the subjects do not act as function and role bearers, but as singularities, is also due to the fact that here they are not only seen as bearers of formal qualifications, but as whole personalities with their cultural, social and emotional competencies and experiences. The plurality of singularities is now not a large addition of subjective individual characteristics, it is a cooperative or better: a collaborative plurality.
