Composed for BlattWerk Quintett
For wind quintet and three analog synths
In « Networked II », I used the six épigraphies antiques composed by Debussy as an inspiration and meta material that I fragmented and recomposed with very specific rules. The original pieces were composed for piano, I made a version for five wind instruments and three synthesizers (inspired by Buchla’s complex waveform oscillators) that I created with my physician friend from CERN Robert Kieffer.
