Martin Reck (1989) is an electronic musician and composer. His works combine influences from acousmatic, pop and club into narrative-driven music of a magical realism.
Live performances, his own voice and the development of electronic instruments are central components of his artistic practice.
Martin Reck releases songs under the alias "Martin Antoinette" and is also active as a DJ. He won the Nico Kaufmann scholarship for electroacoustic composition as well as the second prize at the SONX competition for works at the intersection between music and literature.
Previous live performances include Gare du Nord, Lucerne Festival, Theater Basel, Literaturhaus Basel, Buch Basel.
He graduated from the Basel Music Academy in audio design and is currently studying electroacoustic composition at the ZHdK Zurich.
