Biography

Controlvoltage.org is a project of swiss electronic music composer and photo designer Roberto Raineri-Seith, who's been involved in the creation of electronic music since 1984. Among the pioneers of the swiss electronic scene of the early 80s and probably the first author to use synthesizers in a at the time unconventional manner in italian Switzerland, his recorded output was initially (1984-1991) released as WUR and usually gets lumped with the industrial scene and / or contemporary avantgarde. Current, all-analog productions are filtered through a Krautrock / drone and dark ambient attitude, reminding more on artists like Conrad Schnitzler or early Kraftwerk.
