I am Genevan composer, of Rumanian origin (born in Bucharest). I had begun to study the music before the age of six years and dedicated many years of my childhood to the study of the violin, the music theory and the harmony.
I am awarded a diploma by the Upper Music Academy of Bucharest (in 1976), having also taken class of counterpoint, orchestration, as well as lyric singing.
For years I was a member of several choirs professional as those of the Opera and of Radio-Bucharest, of the famous choir "Madrigal" managed by Marin Constantin, and later, from 1981, of the Choir of Chamber of French Switzerland in Lausanne, as well as that of the Italian Swiss Radio to Lugano.
I participated in numerous concerts in Switzerland and internationally, with famous conductors : Iosif Conta, Horst Stein, Armin Jordan, Wolfgang Sawalich, James Conlon, Pierre Boulez, André Charlet.
As composer, I wrote works as: Trio for violin, cello and piano, Quartet for 2 violins, viola(alto) and cello, Prelude for piano and orchestra, Cantata for soloists and orchestras, Cantata for choir and piano, Oratorio for soloists, choir and orchestra, Trio for violin and 2 cellos, Concerto for violin & orchestre, Quintet for wind instruments & harp, 2 Symphonies. Some of my works were already played in public several times in Geneva and in Zurich, in the Kongresshaus in Kammermusiksaal, by musicians of the OSR, the quartet Terpsycordes, the quartet Fratres, the quartet D-Cadences (Chamber music ensemble of the OSR), as well as the singers of the Big Theater of Geneva.
